Thought of the day

Life is very short, so break your silly ego, forgive quickly, believe slowly, love truly, laugh loudly & never avoid anything that makes you smile.

When I woke up this morning lying in bed, I was asking myself;

What are some of the secrets of success in life?
I found the answer right there, in my very room.  The fan said.............Be Cool
The Roof said...........Aim High
The window said.......See the World
The Clock said..........Every minute is precious
The Mirror said..........Reflect before you act
The Calender............Be up-to-date
The door said............Push hard for your goals

Carry a Heart that Never Hates.

Carry a Smile that Never Fades.

Carry a Touch that Never Hurts.

Two Wolves!!!!!!!!!

An old Grandfather said to his grandson, who came to him with anger at a friend who had done him an injustice, "Let me tell you a story."

"I too, at times, have felt great hate for those who have taken so much, with no sorrow for what they do. But hate wears you down, and does not hurt your enemy. It's like taking poison and wishing your enemy would die. I have struggled with these feelings many times."

"It is as if there are two wolves inside me; one is good and does no harm. He lives in harmony with all around him and does not take offense when no offense was intended. He will only fight when it is right to do so, and in the right way."
"But the other wolf... Ah! The tiniest thing will send him into a fit of temper. He fights everyone, all the time, for no reason. He cannot think because his anger and hate are so great. It is helpless anger, for his anger will change nothing."

"Sometimes it is hard to live with these two wolves inside me, for both of them try to dominate my spirit."
The boy looked intently into his Grandfather's eyes and asked, "Which one wins, Grandfather?"
The Grandfather smiled and quietly said, "The one I feed."

Puzzle!..Logical or Lateral Thinking!! Nice Story!!!!!!!!!!!

Many years ago in a small Indian village,

A farmer had the misfortune Of owing a large sum of money to a village moneylender.
The Moneylender, who was old and ugly, fancied the farmer's beautiful Daughter. So he proposed a bargain.

He said he would forgo the farmer's debt if he could marry his Daughter. Both the farmer and his daughter were horrified by the Proposal.

So the cunning money-lender suggested that they let Providence decide the matter.

He told them that he would put a black Pebble and a white pebble into an empty money bag. Then the girl would Have to pick one pebble from the bag.

1) If she picked the black pebble, she would become his wife and her father's debt would be forgiven.

2) If she picked the white pebble she need not marry him and her father's debt would still be forgiven.

3) But if she refused to pick a pebble, her father would be thrown into Jail.

They were standing on a pebble strewn path in the farmer's field. As They talked, the moneylender bent over to pick up two pebbles. As he Picked them up, the sharp-eyed girl noticed that he had picked up two Black pebbles and put them into the bag.

He then asked the girl to pick A pebble from the bag.

Now, imagine that you were standing in the field.. What would you have Done if you were the girl? If you had to advise her, what would you Have told her?

Careful analysis would produce three possibilities:

1. The girl should refuse to take a pebble.

2. The girl should show that there were two black pebbles in the bag And expose the money-lender as a cheat.

3. The girl should pick a black pebble and sacrifice herself in order To save her father from his debt and imprisonment.
Take a moment to ponder over the story. The above story is used with The hope that it will make us appreciate the difference between lateral And logical thinking.

The girl's dilemma cannot be solved with Traditional logical thinking. Think of the consequences if she chooses

The above logical answers.

What would you recommend to the Girl to do?

Well, here is what she did ....

The girl put her hand into the moneybag and drew out a pebble. Without Looking at it, she fumbled and let it fall onto the pebble-strewn path Where it immediately became lost among all the other pebbles.

"Oh, how clumsy of me," she said. "But never mind, if you look into the Bag for the one that is left, you will be able to tell which pebble I Picked."

Since the remaining pebble is black, it must be assumed that she had Picked the white one. And since the money-lender dared not admit his Dishonesty, the girl changed what seemed an impossible situation into An extremely advantageous one.

MORAL OF THE STORY:

Most complex problems do have a solution. It is only that we don't Attempt to think.

A Better Way !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THERE IS  ALWAYS  A  BETTER WAY
A blind boy sat on the steps of a building with a hat by his feet.

He held up a sign which said:

            I m blind,please help.
There were only a few coins in the hat.
A man was walking by.  He took a few coins from his pocket and dropped them into the hat.
He then took the sign, turned it around, and wrote some words.
He put the sign back so that everyone who walked by will see the new words.

Soon the hat began to fill up.
A lot more people were giving money to the blind boy
That afternoon the man who had changed the sign came to see how things were.

The boy recognized his footsteps and asked,
”Were you the one who changed my sign
this morning?  What did you write?”

The man said,
“I only wrote the truth.

I said what you said but in a   different  way.”

What he had written was:

"Today is a  Beautiful  day
and I cannot see it."

Do you think the first sign and the second sign were saying the same thing?

Of course both signs told people the
boy was blind.

But the first sign simply told people to help by putting some money in the hat.

The second sign told people that they were able to enjoy the beauty of the day, but the boy could not enjoy it because he was blind.

Should we be surprised that the second sign was more effective?

There are at least  two lessons we can learn from this simple story.

The first is,

“Be thankful for what you have.  Someone else has less.
Help
where you can.”

The second is,

“Be  creative .

Be   innovative                           .

Think    differntly                      .

THERE IS ALWAYS A    BETTER  WAY!”

Today's Dreams Are Tomorrow's Successes...............

Don't be afraid of high hopes
or plans that seem to be out of reach.
Life is meant to be experienced,
and every situation allows for
learning and growth.

Motivation is a positive starting point,
and action places you on a forward path.
A dream is a blueprint
of a goal not yet achieved;
the only difference between the two
is the effort involved in attaining
what you hope to accomplish.

Let your mind and heart urge you on;
allow the power of your will
to lead you to your destination.

Don't count the steps ahead;
just add up the total
of steps already covered,
and multiply it by
faith, confidence, and endurance.

Always remember that
for those who persist,
today's dreams are transformed
into tomorrow's successes.............

Positive Thinking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Positive thinking is a mental attitude that anticipates happiness, success and favorable outcomes in every situation or action you do. The thoughts get registered in your subconscious mind and you start taking action to create favorable change.

A positive outlook can help you to cope better with stressful situations and can change your life for the better.
Why think positively?
Ever wondered why some people find learning an enjoyable and exciting experience? Why are some people disinterested and find it an unpleasant experience while others use it merely as a road to fetch a good job? The difference between these people lies in their attitude and their approach towards life. Your mindset plays a huge role in every aspect of your life.
Your mind can control your body for better or for worse. A negativemindset can mar your life while a positive mindset can make your lifehappy and peaceful. The choice is yours!
Ways to develop positive thinking
You cannot change your thoughts and attitude over night. Positive thinking takes practice.

Persistence would make your mind to think positively and ignore negative thoughts.

Benefits of positive thinking
Decreases stress.
Helps you cope better in stressful situations.
Strengthens your Immune System and reduces the risk of certain diseases.
Improves your self-esteem and confidence.
Brings inner peace, happiness and a sense of well-being.
Motivates you to accomplish your goals.
Helps you have greater inner strength and energy.
Helps you live longer.

Listen to your inner voice

Listening to your inner voice or instincts is one of the most common ways to develop positive thinking. Whenever any negative thoughts enter your mind, try to replace it with a constructive one. For example, “I won’t be able to do it” will be put forward as “I will do it”. Practice this regularly and you will soon be able to master your mind.

Learn to meditate
Meditation calms your mind and relaxes your body Meditation gives you inner strength, peace of mind, relaxation and a sense of bliss, which will help you to think positively.

Always see the brighter side of life
Try to believe that everything happens for a reason and embrace the concept that something good will come out of every situation that momentarily seems bad. Always look on the bright side of life and it will work wonders for you.

Learn to communicate effectively
Not saying the things you feel can give a sense of frustration, anxiety and anger, thus giving way to negative thoughts. Hence, communication is an important aspect of positive thinking.
Believe in yourself
Believe in yourself and your capabilities to become more confident. Make a positive commitment to your self and to the people around you. Praise yourself and be enthusiastic.
Tips to positive thinking
  • Be optimistic and expect favorable outcomes in every situation.
  • Cultivate the habit of reading inspiring books.
  • Find reasons to smile more often. It’s a great stress buster.
  • Try to use positive words, e.g. “I can”, “it will be done”, “it is possible” while thinking and talking.
  • Engage yourself in enjoyable recreational activities.
  • Interact with people who have a positive outlook in life.
Finally…
Positive thinking needs consistent effort as you are creating a new habit. On the other hand, negative thoughts can rip your focus from your goal. There is no greater joy than living a healthy and positive life. So take charge of your mind and think positive. Remember, you are what you think.

MEANING OF ROSE COLORS..................

MEANING OF ROSE COLORS

I have read this somewhere and noted it for future use. Let me know if someone else have more to contribute to this list.

    * Black Roses signify Death
    * Coral Rose conveys desire

    * Orange Roses indicate enthusiasm, desire and fascination
    * Pink (Deep) says Thank You
    * Pink (Light) Rose conveys admiration, gentleness, grace, gladness, joy and sweetness
    * Pink Rose carry the message of happiness, gracefulness and gentleness
    * Red Roses symbolise sincere Love, Respect, Courage & Passion
    * Red (Dark) Rose reveals unconscious beauty
    * Red (Single) means "I Love You" (I Want to send it  4 U)

The description after the colour indicates how you feel about the person to whom you are sending the rose. By the way, black does not always mean that you wish the recipient to be dead; it can also be a wish for your own death, perhaps if you just can't live with the way the situation stands.

!!! Know your Value !!!

!!! Know your Value !!!

A well-known speaker started off his seminar by holding up a Rupee 500 note. In the room of 200,
He asked, "Who would like this Rupee 500 note?"

Hands started going up.

He said, "I am going to give this note to one of you but first let me do this."

He proceeded to crumple the note up.

He then asked, "Who still wants it?"

Still the hands were up in the air.

"Well," he replied, "What if I do this?"

And he dropped it on the ground and started to grind it into the floor with his shoe. He picked it up, now all crumpled and dirty.

"Now who still wants it?"

Still the hands went into the air.

"My friends, you have all learned a very valuable lesson.

No matter what I did to the money.

You still wanted it because it did not decrease in value. It was still worth Rupee 500/-.

Many times in our lives, we are dropped, crumpled, and ground into the dirt by the decisions we make and the circumstances that come our way. We feel as though we are worthless.

But no matter what has happened or what will happen.

Never lose your value.

You are special. Don't ever forget it! Never let yesterday's disappointments overshadow tomorrow's dreams.

Making Money is Not Everthing in Life (Story)

An elderly man in Mumbai calls his son in New York and says,

'I hate to ruin your day son, but I have to tell you that your mother and I are getting a divorce; 35 years of marriage.... And that much misery is enough!'

'Dad, what are you talking about?' the son screams.

'We can't stand the sight of each other any longer,' the old man says.

'We're sick of each other, and I'm sick of talking about this, so you call your sister in Hong Kong and tell her!'

Frantic, the son calls his sister, who explodes on the phone.

'Like heck they're getting divorced,' she shouts, 'I'll take care of this.'

She calls Mumbai immediately, and screams at the old man, 'You are not getting divorced. Don't do a single thing until I get there. I'm calling my brother back, and we'll both be there tomorrow. Until then , don't do a thing, DO YOU HEAR??' and she hangs up.

The old man hangs up his phone and turns to his wife.. 'Okay', he says, 'It's all set. They're both coming for our anniversary and paying their own airfare!!'

Never Give Up in life- Nice Story!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Real Inspiring Story: You are not inferior
to an Ant - Never Give Up in life

Amir Taimur, was someone who was so firm and
unfaltering in every predicament, that he did not
cover from any misfortune. When the reason for
this was sought from him, he said:

"Once, having fled from my enemies and seeking refuge
in the ruins of a worn down and dilapidated building,

I was reflecting over my future when my eyes suddenly fell
upon a small and weak Ant, carrying a grain bigger than itself,
endeavouring to climb to the top of a wall.

"Looking carefully and counting accurately, I found that the
grain had dropped from its clutches sixty seven times
before the Ant finally managed to make it to the top of
the wall with it. The spectacle of this effort on the part
of the Ant infused within me strength of such great magnitude
that I am never able to forget it."

"I said to myself: O' Taimur! You are by no means inferior to
an Ant. Arise and get back to work. I got up and
gathered my resolve till I eventually came to acquire
the courage that I now possess."

Moral from This Story:

Falling down is not defeat...
defeat is when you refuse to get up...
Never take some one for granted,Hold every person Close
to your Heart because you might wake up one day and
realize that you have lost a diamond while you were
too busy collecting stones." Remember this always in.........

Moral story.................

A giant ship engine failed. The ship's owners tried one expert after another, but none of them could figure but how to fix the engine.

Then they brought in an old man who had been fixing ships since he was a young. He carried a large bag of tools with him, and when he arrived, he immediately went to work. He inspected the engine very carefully, top to bottom.

Two of the ship's owners were there, watching this man, hoping he would know what to do. After looking things over, the old man reached into his bag and pulled out a small hammer. He gently tapped something. Instantly, the engine lurched into life. He carefully put his hammer away. The engine was fixed!
A week later, the owners received a bill from the old man for ten thousand dollars.
"What?!" the owners exclaimed. "He hardly did anything!"
So they wrote the old man a note saying, "Please send us an itemized bill."

The man sent a bill that read:
Tapping with a hammer....... ........ ........ $ 2.00
Knowing where to tap......... ........ ......... $ 9,998.00

Moral of story is . . . . . . . . .... .. .
Effort is important, but knowing where to make an effort makes all the difference...........

Footprints in Time.................

Two young lovers, Walking on the sand,
Gazing at each other, Talking hand in hand,
The prints they leave behind them,
Marking memories of the past,
The long beach laid before them,
Hoping love will last,
The ocean captures the footprints,
And erases them from the shore,
Taking with it remembrances,
And leaving them with more,

Many years have passed,
Time flies when you're having fun,
And before you know it innocence fades,
And the teen years are done,
Now she's back on the beach,
Except she is alone,
Watching and waiting,
For the love that hadn't grown,
She walks along the ocean,
Two footprints, not four,
Wondering where the laughter went,
Why he didn't love her more,
Then she stops to sit,
And draws his name in the sand,
A celestial stranger comes along,
And reaches out a hand,
Hesitantly she takes it,
And he listens to her cries,
He's been there before,
He's heard many lies,
They decide to walk,
And she follows, not knowing why,

Love will always be reborn again,
Even if it may die,
She is more cautious than before,
And as she looks back at the footprints,
She smiles seeing not two, but four,
This time will be different,
Her heart trying to say,
Something magical happened,
She felt it the first day,
Something clicked when they touched,
A jolt from inside,
She knew he'd be there always,
If she had something to confide,

Now here it is twenty years later,
And his love for her,
Is now even greater,
He looks at her like the first time they met,
And despite all the years gone by,
They can never forget,
Those four special footprints,
That are never washed away,
They'll stay forever on her heart,
Until their dying day.

One-Of-These-Days ...........................

Profound thoughts ...!!!! Today I was searching for some articles and found this one very interesting and realistic. This was sent by my Mom defining paradoxes of our times. This article tells us that "one must enjoy every moment of your life because every day you live is a special occasion" :)
Enjoy reading ..!!!

Today we have bigger houses
and smaller families.
More conveniences, but less time.

We have more degrees,
but less common sense.
More knowledge, but less judgment.
We spend too recklessly;
Laugh too little,
Drive too fast,
Get too angry too quickly,
Stay up too late,
Read too little,
Watch TV too much,
And pray too seldom!

We’ve multiplied our possessions,
but reduced our values.

We talk too much, love too little,
and lie too often

We’ve learned how to make a living,
but not a life.
We’ve added years to life, not life to years.

We have taller buildings,
but shorter tempers;
Wider freeways, but narrower viewpoints.

We spend more, but have less.
We buy more, but enjoy it less.

We’ve been all the way to the moon and back, but have trouble crossing the street to meet our neighbors.

We’ve conquered outer space,
But not inner space.

We’ve split the atom,
But not our prejudice.

We write more, learn less; plan more, but accomplish less.
We’ve learned to rush, but not to wait.
We have higher incomes, but lower morals.
We build more computers
to hold more information,
to produce more copies,
But have less communications.

We are long on quantity,
But short on quality.

These are the times of
fast foods and slow digestion;
Tall men and short characters.

More leisure and less fun;
More kinds of foods, but less nutrition.
Two incomes, but more divorces.
Fancier houses, but broken homes.

That’s why I propose, that as of today,
you don’t keep anything for special occasions,
because every day you live is a special occasion.

Search for knowledge. Read more. Sit on your front porch and admire the view without paying attention to your needs.
Spend more time with your family and friends.
Eat your favorite foods and visit the places you love.

Life is a chain of moments of enjoyment,
not only about survival.
Use your crystal goblets. Don’t save your best perfume, use it every time you feel you want it.

Remove from your vocabulary phrases like
“one of these days“ and “someday”.
Write that letter you’ve thought about writing.

Tell your family and friends how much you love them.
Don’t delay anything that adds laughter and joy to your life.

Every day, every hour, and every minute is special.
You don’t know if it will be your last.

So never say one of these days or someday you will do it ....enjoy ur present and feel it :)

Steve Jobs: “Don’t waste your time living someone else’s life”.............

Steve Jobs cofounded Apple Computer Inc. at age 21 in 1976, got fired in 1985, and returned in 1997 to lead one of the most remarkable corporate turnarounds in business history. The product and marketing visions he has since executed have elevated him to the status of a business and media superstar. Steve Jobs had a cancerous pancreatic tumor removed in 2004 and underwent a liver transplant in 2009.
In his 2005 commencement address (transcript, video) at Stanford University, Steve Jobs urged graduates to pursue their dreams and fulfill the opportunities in life’s setbacks:
  • Sometimes life hits you in the head with a brick. Don’t lose faith. I’m convinced that the only thing that kept me going was that I loved what I did. You’ve got to find what you love. … Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle. As with all matters of the heart, you’ll know when you find it.
  • Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of other’s opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.

The important things in life .......................

A philosophy professor stood before his class with some items on the table in front of him. When the class began, wordlessly he picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with rocks, about 2 inches in diameter.
He then asked the students if the jar was full. They agreed that it was.
So the professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles, of course, rolled into the open areas between the rocks.
He then asked the students again if the jar was full. They agreed it was.
The professor picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar. Of course, the sand filled up everything else.
He then asked once more if the jar was full. The students responded with a unanimous “Yes.”

“Now,” said the professor, “I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life. The rocks are the important things – your family, your partner, your health, your children – things that if everything else was lost and only they remained, your life would still be full.
The pebbles are the other things that matter – like your job, your house, your car.
The sand is everything else. The small stuff.”
“If you put the sand into the jar first,” he continued “there is no room for the pebbles or the rocks. The same goes for your life.
If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff, you will never have room for the things that are important to you. Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness. Play with your children. Take your partner out dancing. There will always be time to go to work, clean the house, give a dinner party and fix the disposal.

Take care of the rocks first – the things that really matter. Set your priorities. The rest is just sand.”

Red Rose and the Cactus......................

One beautiful spring day a red rose blossomed in a forest.
Many kinds of trees and plants grew there. As the rose looked around,
a pine tree nearby said, "What a beautiful flower.
I wish I was that lovely." Another tree said, "Dear pine,
do not be sad, we can not have everything."

The rose turned its head and remarked, "It seems that I am
the most beautiful plant in this forest."

A sunflower raised its yellow head and asked, "Why do you say that?
In this forest there are many beautiful plants.
You are just one of them." The red rose replied,
"I see everyone looking at me and admiring me."
Then the rose looked at a cactus and said,
"Look at that ugly plant full of thorns!"
The pine tree said, "Red rose, what kind of talk is this?
Who can say what beauty is? You have thorns too."

The proud red rose looked angrily at the pine and said,
"I thought you had good taste! You do not know what beauty is at all.
You can not compare my thorns to that of the cactus."

"What a proud flower", thought the trees.

The rose tried to move its roots away from the cactus,
but it could not move. As the days passed,
the red rose would look at the cactus and say insulting things,
like: This plant is useless? How sorry I am to be his neighbor."

The cactus never got upset and he even tried to advise the rose,
saying, "God did not create any form of life without a purpose."

Spring passed, and the weather became very warm.
Life became difficult in the forest, as the plants and animals needed water
and no rain fell. The red rose began to wilt.
One day the rose saw sparrows stick their beaks into the cactus and
then fly away, refreshed. This was puzzling, and
the red rose asked the pine tree what the birds were doing.

The pine tree explained that the birds got water from the cactus.
"Does it not hurt when they make holes?" asked the rose.

"Yes, but the cactus does not like to see any birds suffer,"
replied the pine. The rose opened its eyes in wonder and said,
"The cactus has water?"

"Yes you can also drink from it. The sparrow can bring water
to you if you ask the cactus for help."

The red rose felt too ashamed of its past words and behavior
to ask for water from the cactus, but then it finally did ask
the cactus for help. The cactus kindly agreed
and the birds filled their beaks with water and watered the rose's roots.

MORAL OF THE STORY:

Thus the rose and all of us learned a lesson that never judge
anyone by their appearance again. God did not create anything without a purpose.

Me and God.. Nice Inspirational Story.................

A Good Lesson for those who dont Hope and Quit in Life...

One day I decided to quit...
I quit my job, my relationship, my Spirituality...
I wanted to quit my life.

I went to the woods to have one last talk with God.
God, I said. Can you give me one good reason
not to quit His answer surprised me...

Look around, He said. Do you see the fern and the bamboo
Yes, I replied.

When I planted the fern and the bamboo seeds,
I took very good care of them.

I gave them light. I gave them water.
The fern quickly grew from the earth.

Its brilliant green covered the floor.
Yet nothing came from the bamboo seed.

But I did not quit on the bamboo.
In the second year the Fern grew more vibrant and plentiful.
And again, nothing came from the bamboo seed.
But I did not quit on the bamboo.

He said.

In year three there was still nothing from the bamboo seed.
But I would not quit. In year four, again,
there was nothing from the bamboo seed.
I would not quit. He said.

Then in the fifth year a tiny sprout emerged from the earth.
Compared to the fern it was seemingly small and insignificant.
But just 6 months later the bamboo rose to over 100 feet tall.
It had spent the five years growing roots.

Those roots made it strong and gave it what it needed to survive.
I would not give any of my creations a challenge it could not handle.
He said to me.

Did you know, that all this time you have been struggling,
you have actually been growing roots

I would not quit on the bamboo. I will never quit on you.

Don't compare yourself to others.
He said. The bamboo had a different purpose than the fern.
Yet they both make the forest beautiful.

Your time will come, God said to me. You will rise high

How high should I rise I asked.

How high will the bamboo rise He asked in return.
As high as it can I questioned

Yes. He said, Give me glory by rising as high as you can.

I left the forest and bring back this story.
I hope these words can help you see that
God will never give up on you.

He will never give up on you!

Lesson from the story:

In life never lose hope and never give up
or quit in life and Success will come to you later in life

Never take some one for granted,
Hold every person Close to your Heart because
you might wake up one day and realise that you have lost a diamond
while you were too busy collecting stones."
Remember this always in life.

Heart Touching Inspirational Story : "whom to blame"........................

A Boy was born to a couple after eleven years of marriage.
They were a loving couple and the boy was the gem of their eyes.
When the boy was around two years old, one morning the husband
saw a medicine bottle open.

He was late for office so he asked his wife to cap the bottle and
keep it in the cupboard. His wife, preoccupied in the kitchen
totally forgot the matter.

The boy saw the bottle and playfully went to the bottle
fascinated by its colour and drank it all. It happened to be
a poisonous medicine meant for adults in small dosages.

When the child collapsed the mother hurried him to the hospital,
where he died. The mother was stunned. She was terrified
how to face her husband.

When the distraught father came to the hospital and
saw the dead child he looked at his wife and uttered just five words.

QUESTIONS:

1. What were the five words?

2. What is the implication of this story?

ANSWER :

The husband just said"
"I am with you Darling"

The husband's totally unexpected reaction is a proactive behavior.
The child is dead. He can never be brought back to life.
There is no point in finding fault with the mother.
Besides, if only he had taken time to keep the bottle away,
this would not have happened.

No one is to be blamed. She had also lost her only child.
What she needed at that moment was consolation and sympathy
from the husband. That is what he gave her.

If everyone can look at life with this kind of perspective,
there would be much fewer problems in the world.
"A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step."

Take off all your envies, jealousies, unforgiven, selfishness,
and fears. And you will find things are actually not as difficult
as you think.

MORAL OF THE STORY :

Sometimes we spend time in asking who is responsible or whom to blame,
whether in a relationship, in a job or with the people we know.
By this way we miss out some warmth in human relationship.

Positive Thinking Your Key to Success!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111

Positive thinking brings inner peace, success, improved relationships, better health, happiness and satisfaction. It also helps the daily affairs of life move more smoothly, and makes life look bright and promising.

Positive thinking is contagious. People around you pick your mental moods and are affected accordingly. Think about happiness, good health and success, and you will cause people to like you and desire to help you, because they enjoy the vibrations that a positive mind emits.
In order to make positive thinking yield results, you need to develop a positive attitude toward life, expect a successful outcome of whatever you do, but also take any necessary actions to ensure your success.

Effective positive thinking that brings results is much more than just repeating a few positive words, or telling yourself that everything is going to be all right. It has to be your predominant mental attitude. It is not enough to think positively for a few moments, and then letting fears and lack of belief enter your mind. Some effort and inner work are necessary.
Are you willing to make a real inner change?
Are you willing to change the way you think?
Are you willing to develop a mental power that can positively affect you, your environment and the people around you?

Here are a few actions and tips to help you develop the power of positive thinking:

Always use only positive words while thinking and while talking. Use words such as, 'I can', 'I am able', 'it is possible', 'it can be done', etc.

Allow into your awareness only feelings of happiness, strength and success.

Try to disregard and ignore negative thoughts. Refuse to think such thoughts, and substitute them with constructive happy thoughts.

In your conversation use words that evoke feelings and mental images of strength, happiness and success.

Before starting with any plan or action, visualize clearly in your mind its successful outcome. If you visualize with concentration and faith, you will be amazed at the results.

Read at least one page of inspiring book every day.

Watch movies that make you feel happy.

Minimize the time you listen to the news and read the papers.

Associate yourself with people who think positively.

Always sit and walk with your back straight. This will strengthen your confidence and inner strength.

Walk, swim or engage in some other physical activity. This helps to develop a more positive attitude.

Think positive and expect only favorable results and situations, even if your current circumstances are not as you wish them to be. In time, your mental attitude will affect your life and circumstances and change them accordingly...................

When you expect success and say "I can", you fill yourself with confidence and joy.

Fill your mind with light, hope and feelings of strength, and soon your life will reflect these qualities.

The Apple!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Once there was a small kid on earth. One fine day it came to know that god is distributing apples to humans in his place at heaven. The kid was so happy to receive that news and it went with lot of enjoyment to heaven to get the apple from god. There was a big queue standing to get apple from god and this kid also joined in that queue. While it was standing, it was fully excited and thrilled for the fact that it is going to receive in person from god's hands. Its turn too came and the kid showed its both the hands to receive apple. God gave the apple but unfortunately the tiny hands couldn't hold that big apple. Apple fell down and got wasted in mud. The kid got so disappointed. The ministers near the god informed that if the kid likes to have an apple from god again then it has to again follow the queue. Having waited for so long the kid didn't want to return back to earth with empty hands so it decided to wait again in the queue.

This time the queue has become even longer than the previous one. While waiting in queue, the kid could see lot of people who returns back with apple in hands and utmost satisfaction on their faces. The kid was so much disappointed and thought why me alone didn't get the apple in hand when all others were easily able to get it. What is the sin I did that I alone should suffer like this. Now the kid was so scared that it should not miss the apple again. Again its turn came and god gave the apple to the kid's hands and after giving the apple god spoke to the kid.

"My dear child, last time after giving you the apple only I noticed the apple I gave to you was a rotten apple and that's why I made that to fell down from your hands. Having given you a rotten apple, I felt bad for you and I wanted to give you the best apple in the farm and that time the best apple in the farm was growing and that's why I made you to wait such a long time in the queue. Here it is. Now the apple that you have in hand is 'The Best' apple in the farm till to date. Enjoy."

Moral : Friends, sometimes it so happens, as even after we put our 100% dedication and commitment things may get delayed or things may go wrong. Believe that god has something great for us and that's why this has happened. Always say, 'Gratitude & patience is absolutely the best way to bring more in one's life'.

Love and Time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Once upon a time, there was an island where all the feelings lived: Happiness, Sadness, Knowledge, and all of the others, including Love. One day it was announced to the feelings that the island would sink, so all constructed boats and left. Except for Love.

Love was the only one who stayed. Love wanted to hold out until the last possible moment.

When the island had almost sunk, Love decided to ask for help.

Richness was passing by Love in a grand boat. Love said,
"Richness, can you take me with you?"
Richness answered, "No, I can't. There is a lot of gold and silver in my boat. There is no place here for you."

Love decided to ask Vanity who was also passing by in a beautiful vessel. "Vanity, please help me!"
"I can't help you, Love. You are all wet and might damage my boat," Vanity answered.

Sadness was close by so Love asked, "Sadness, let me go with you."
"Oh . . . Love, I am so sad that I need to be by myself!"

Happiness passed by Love, too, but she was so happy that she did not even hear when Love called her.

Suddenly, there was a voice, "Come, Love, I will take you." It was an elder. So blessed and overjoyed, Love even forgot to ask the elder where they were going. When they arrived at dry land, the elder went her own way. Realizing how much was owed the elder,

Love asked Knowledge, another elder, "Who Helped me?"
"It was Time," Knowledge answered.
"Time?" asked Love. "But why did Time help me?"
Knowledge smiled with deep wisdom and answered, "Because only Time is capable of understanding how valuable Love is."

Becoz' Love is the true means by which the world
is enjoyed: our love to others, and others'
love to us.
